There is a new Liptensity Lipstick by MAC’s that has a lot of buzz for ti’s texture and it’s use with slightly darker skin tones. The Toast and Butter
shade has been found to be lacking in numerous areas. Not only was the color
found to be neither bold enough to be obvious or clear enough to be natural, but the texture was found to be a bit dry and lacking the ease and smoothness of application one might expect.
- The color was not a very good tone as it was a mix of and not settled on either a nude or a brown.
- It was heavy and dry texture not at all how a lipstick should feel.
- Very expensive for a lipstick and not at all worth the money.
“What was I expecting from MAC’s Liptensity Lipstick? Well it had been recommended to me by a few sources, for the texture, for the colour on olive skin tones, for many reasons. I caved and purchased it for £17.50 and I was expecting a super creamy balm like texture with a lot of pigmentation and glow.”
